Terms of use

1. Subject

Cifradocs provides a file conversion and transformation service. It is not a document-preservation service. Deletion times form part of the de facto contract: retention.

2. Contracting party

3. Guest use

Processing without an account is permitted, within quota. Anyone who uploads a file declares they may process it.

4. Retention

Free: deletion within 60 minutes. Paid plans: 24 hours at most. After expiry, files cannot be recovered.

5. Quality

Image rasterisation and transcoding are predictable operations. PDF to Office and OCR do not guarantee layout fidelity. Assisted summary is off by default.

6. Prohibitions

It is forbidden to upload malware, evade limits, use the service for unlawful content, or attempt to unlock PDFs without entitlement.

7. Fees

Prices in Fees are indicative; binding limits are those of the plan. List: sub-processors.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as available”. Loss of a file not collected before expiry is not answered for. Mandatory consumer protection remains.
